Very Rare Whitesloanea Crassa Plant
If you are ever in Somalia, you may never see one of these native plants. Locals protect them in an almost mystical manner for apparent medicinal properties and you can be killed for taking one. They grow in gritty gravel in filtered light. They produce a white and brown flower (this flower photo taken in November, note that the flowers come from buds at the soil line). It is considered one of the rarest succulents. Ours are seed grown about 3-4 inches tall and well rooted. They are excellent specimens, get ready for your local plant show.
