Product Description

Tephrocactus Articulatus is native to Argentina. It is a slow growing segmented cactus similar in ways to the opuntia family. The Tephrocactus Articulatus is the less-typical looking family member -- devoid of spines or leaves (except a few paper-like white spines which may appear at the top) -- it has a round stem and alien-like appearance. Produces offsets (shown in photo) which easily detach and can be planted. Tephrocactus Articulatus will flower in habitat and occasionally in cultivation. These are slow growing and very popular with collectors.
