Oreocereus Trollii Cactus

Affectionately know as the Old Man of the Andes, the Oreocereus Trollii is native the the extreme high altitudes of the Andes Mountains in Bolivia and Argentina.

It is covered with thick white "hair" that protects it from the intense sunlight and extreme cold in it's native high altitude habitat.

It is noted for offshoots which grow at the bottom of the plant and in some settings actually lay on the ground. It produces a red flower.

These are about 4-5 inches tall shown here growing in 4 inch diameter pots.

Our cactus and succulent plants are all grown in the same conditions and, although not identical, are similar in size and shape to the one pictured. Plants are generally shown in 4-inch diameter pots. We only ship good quality and healthy plants, personally inspected prior to packing. Your plant will ship bare root (unpotted) unless otherwise requested or specified. We include Plant Care instructions with your shipment and they can also be found on our website.
