Hoodia Gordonii is a succulent plant, closely related to the stapelia. It grows naturally in Namibia and parts of South Africa. Hoodia Gordonii is threatened with extinction in habitat, in part due to demand created by its appitite supression qualitites. Natives have long used it for various medicinal applications, including appitite supression. It produces a very unique flower.
These are nursery seed-grown grown plants shown in 4 inch pots, height of the plant is about 4-6 inches. Hoodia is noted for it's stinky flowers (as are stepelia).
