Portulaca Molokiniensis Succulent Plant

Native to Maui, Hawaii, where it is known as the ihi plant. It grows in limited coastal areas and in the wild grows into dense clumps. In a container grows thick stems with leaves at the top. Has unique round-shaped leaves and can flower in Spring. Likes bright light and moderate warm temperatures. Easily propagated by stem cuttings. These are seed-grown, healthy plants in 2.5 inch containers, approximate height 3-5 inches.

Our cactus and succulent plants are all grown in the same conditions and, although not identical, are similar in size and shape to the one pictured. We only ship high quality and healthy plants, personally inspected prior to packing. It’s important to remember that plants are living things and they are not perfect, nor is any living thing. Minor leaf imperfections or weathering are normal; leaves that have imperfections or are broken can be safely trimmed away. It is also normal for succulents to lose the bottom leaves when acclimating to their new environment.
