Our plants are shipped potted in plastic growers pots (with a few exceptions for some large, over sized plants or a few which are grown in bulk configurations).

NOTE: *Free shipping does not apply to commercial quantities, commercial orders, specialty items and orders, plant flats and 2 inch mini plants, bulk and wholesale orders, exceptionally large plants, large dish gardens, succulent wreaths, surcharge sizes and other exclusions. These items may show a shipping surcharge on your order due to size, weight and dimensions.  Please inquire in advance if you have questions.

Not all shipping methods are available for Hawaii and Alaska, so, depending upon the size of your order, shipping rates may be surcharged for Hawaii and Alaska, please inquire.

Shipping discounts may be available for California orders, please inquire.

Our goal is to ship only quality plants in order to ensure your complete satisfaction. We guarantee safe arrival of your plants, we take the time to pack them carefully, we want you to receive them in the condition we would like to receive them ourselves. If you believe you have received an unsatisfactory plant, please notify us in 24 hours via e-mail or text 858-382-7448.  Depending upon the problem, we will determine whether a replacement, credit or refund would be to your satisfaction. Care instructions are included with your plant and are also on our website.

*Please read our section in Weather Risk. Although we guarantee your plants under regular conditions, you should decide if extreme conditions merit postponing your shipment. 

We ship healthy, high quality plants and inspect each one prior to shipment. But it is important to remember that plants are natural, living things and are not always perfect. They may have minor imperfections or blemishes. Our larger plants are grown outdoors and are subject to Mother Nature, they may show occasional signs of weathering. All are healthy plants and will grow through any imperfections. In the short term, leaves with imperfections can be trimmed with scissors, the bottom or outer leaves of succulents can be trimmed or plucked  (plants grow from the center). Enjoy your plants for what they are when you receive them and what they will become with your loving care. 

Shipping Policy: We ship only within the United States.(Including to Hawaii in compliance with Hawaii Agricultural Regulations, plants are shipped bare-root with all soil removed.) 

Our goal is to ship orders within 3-5 business days. In some cases plants need to dry before shipping or must be harvested if they are field grown and shipping will take longer. We ship via USPS, UPS FedEx Ground, depending upon the content and destination of the order.

Some extremely large plants and complex orders may have an additional shipping surcharge due to size, weight and volume of the shipment.

Weather Risks

It is the buyer's responsibility to determine if excessively hot or cold weather will impact the healthy shipment of plants. Upon your request we will gladly hold plants until favorable weather.

Payment Processing and Security

We use a third-party payment processor. Once you enter the payment process, your transaction is encrypted. We accept all major credit cards. We will gladly process your transaction on the phone, just give us a call or text and ask us to call you.

Privacy Policy

We do not release to third parties any data you may send us or our payment processor.

Guarantee & Refund Policy

We guarantee safe arrival of your plants and will replace any plant destroyed, damaged or lost in shipment, or, at our option, refund your payment. You must notify us of shipping damage within 24 hours of receipt. Our liability is limited to the amount of the destroyed or damaged plant. (Note: please read our weather policy. We can't be responsible for plants damaged by severe weather conditions.)

We make every effort to ensure customer satisfaction. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us. Because each plant must be harvested for your order, plants may not be returned. Orders shipped may not be cancelled. Orders returned or rejected without our express permission may be subject to a restocking/replanting fee, up to 100% of the purchase price, depending upon the plant and circumstances.

Care instructions are included with your plant. Please read them. Above all, don't over-water, this is the most common cause of dead plants.

Wrong Address: Our shipping software ships to the address that you provided on your order (unless you contact us separately in advance with an address change, which we will be glad to make). Please be sure to check that it is where you want your order to go. We can't be responsible if you had us ship to the wrong address. However, we'll work with you to try to redirect your order, or re-send if returned to us. You may need to pay an additional shipping cost.
